Nepa tech is a department of very kind and highly skilled software developers and data engineers. Together we build and maintain Nepa’s technical products and currently we are looking to strengthen our department with a UX designer that will help our visual insight enablement team (Visent) to develop our next version client platform.

Your role as our UX-designer

Our teams have full responsibility and mandate to design, build, and maintain the products they work with. If you build it, you also run it. We believe the best products are built by highly skilled people collaborating closely, and therefore mob programming is the default way of working. As our UX designer you should therefore not be afraid to get your hands dirty as you will work with design but also implementation together with the team. As our first designer, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape our design vision and processes. While your primary focus will remain on your core responsibilities, you'll also collaborate with other teams and make a broad impact across the department and the company.

Your profile

You see yourself as a constantly growing artisan.

To excel in this role, you should have:

- A bachelor’s degree or similar within a relevant field.

- Practical experience of working with all parts of UX design with a strong focus on UI.

- An eye for designing systems that not only functions well for the user but that also looks good. As a testament to that, you have a portfolio to share.

- Experience in data visualization and dashboard design.

- A belief in collaboration as the primary factor for good product development, and you are used to realizing your ideas in code.

- A strong will to learn and share your knowledge to grow your peers.

- You are fluent in English, both in speech and writing. The position requires excellent communication skills.

- You have a Swedish work permit.
