Usually, I am not one to put anything on faith, or use corny words like that, but I think I should make an exception here, since how I got started at Nepa might actually have a little touch of “it was meant to be”.

I was contacted by my current manager in the summer of 2021 regarding the Insight analyst position at Nepa Finland. Back then I was not searching for a new job at all, in fact I was quite satisfied with my previous one, also in the market research industry. However, the pandemic had slowed things down, and I felt I was starting to be in a bit of a slow slump professionally – a dangerous place to be, when you have passion to evolve. I’ve always had aspiration to work in an international environment and deepen my analytical skills, and after having a few more talks with my recruiter, now manager, I realised how great an opportunity I had in front of me. We continued the interview process and after having spoken to several other Nepians, I was convinced. I could sense that everyone was not only talented top-notch professionals, but also nice and supportive colleagues, with whom I could have a laugh. And right I was!

Now I have been at Nepa half a year and could not picture myself anywhere else. In this short amount of time, I have already grown professionally so much more than I expected, I have clear goals and I know I am moving forward in my career.

The job is the right amount of challenging, and the best part is that get to work with such bright minds, who all have their own unique strong suite. Some very strong analytics, some an amazing capability to see exactly what the client is after – skills I get to learn daily. But one thing is common: all are truly nice and pleasant colleagues. We always solve possible challenges in great team spirit; never pass blame, always look for the solution. That’s what I would say is the core of Nepa – we have great talent from different areas of expertise combined with ambition to deliver the best possible result while having a good time as a team and enjoying the process!
