Your role as our BI Developer - Lead

As a BI Developer - Lead at Nepa, you will be responsible for leading, consulting, and executing BI Projects including project and cost estimations, tool evaluation, client consultations, building and managing data flow, building new dashboards, maintaining existing dashboards for Nepa's global clients.

Your profile as our BI Developer - Lead

We are looking for a team lead who is creative, a self-starter, and must have the ability to work efficiently in an unstructured environment. You should have excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects with aggressive deadlines. Demonstrates problem-solving and analytical skills.

Overall Responsibilities

- Lead a team of 3-5 BI Developers in the Mumbai Office.

- Lead discussions regarding project timelines, tools evaluations, cost estimations internally and externally with the clients.

- Lead the design and implementation of processes for the execution of BI projects. This will include setting up a standard project life cycle, communication, and change request standards, quality processes definition and implementation.

- Work closely with the global Data Science team towards efficient application development and project execution.

- Support India organization and Global Data Science in automation and process improvement.

Operating Level Responsibilities

- Work with client/account team to translate client requirements into specific KPIs and visual representation of those KPIs.

- Consult the client in liaison with the account team on project timelines, tools, costs estimations, dashboard design, and structure.

- Design, build and maintain data flow from scripting databases, internal databases for data processing.

- Effective project communication to ensure adherence to timelines and quality parameters.

- Gather and implement feedback from client/account teams.

- Automate refresh process using various data transformation tools.

- Leading the building of dashboards of various complexity using a wide variety of data sources.

A few more things

- You have a graduate degree, engineering, or a relevant field.

- You have 5 to 6 years of experience in a market research company or market research department of a company.

- You have experience in leading small to medium-sized team.

- You have experience in a client-facing role as a BI Consultant from project design to execution.

- You have expertise in Tableau, its architecture, and administration.

- You have expertise in different types of charts, tables, filters, details, functions, blending, Hyperlink LODs, etc.

- You have expertise in data processing using SPSS, Alteryx, or any other tools and applications.

- At least an intermediate level of knowledge of databases, SQL, and other similar technologies.

- Strong written and oral communication needed.
